rainyday

Daddy– It’s a Rainy Day! What can we do?

Daddy– it’s Raining!

It’s Really, Really Wet Outside!

Daddy–  What can I do on this Rainy Day?

You could Play in a Puddle.

You could Climb a Tree.

We could Walk to the Bay.

Now what, Daddy?

We could Sit on a Bench.

Daddy, this Bench is WET!

I can Play in the Sprinklers.

Don’t get TOO Wet, Ryan.  You know how you Hate the Dryer!

I can Smell the Flowers.  They always Smell Nice after the Rain.

I know!  Let’s Walk to the Museum and the Theater, Ryan!

Here we are.

It’s a Pretty Museum – but, it’s not Open.  It is too Early.

Oh, Daddy!  Look at that Lion!  He Looks Fierce!

I’m standing Next to a Fierce Lion.

(But Only Because he is a Stone Lion.)

Now, Let’s Walk to the Theater.

Stand there Ryan.  This is a Really Neat picture.

(See the tree?)
You can Always get a Table on a Rainy Day!

Smoking is Stinky.  It’s not Cool.
I’m Glad that you and Mommy don’t Smoke.
Tickets for What, Daddy?

It’s for the Ballet.  That’s ‘Fancy Dancing’, Ryan.

Let’s Review the Schedule.  Maybe Mommy will want to see the Ballet.

What’s that say, Daddy?
‘Menopause the Musical’

What’s Men-o-Paws, Daddy?

Ask your Mommy, Ryan.

Look, Ryan.  The Sun is Coming Out!

I’m getting Hot, Daddy!

And the Rain has Stopped.

Now it’s a Sunny Day!
Let’s Go to the Beach!

That looks like a great time. You have quite a rain outfit. It must be nice to be able to go out in the rain. I’ve got a raincoat and boots, but no hat!

    Ryan,
I love your rain gear, beary stylish! Especially those boots, but remember you must be careful to keep your balance when splashing in those puddles.

I want to play in the rain too! A lot of my friends do, so it can’t be very dangerous… Perhaps G. can make me a raincoat, she’s very busy making things these days, it can’t be to difficult to make…

Well, Daddy keeps telling me how Lucky I am to HAVE Shoes!

Daddy is a Wallpaper Removal Contractor in S.W. Florida and there is hardly ANY work around these days, he says.

BTW, he’ll Happily TRAVEL to Europe to Remove Wallpaper @ $1 per square foot (if there is Enough Work to pay for R/T Air Fare, he told me to Say)

He already Drives 17 hours to Remove Wallpaper in Washington, D.C. where Mommy lives, if the job is $1,200 or more!

You should HEAR my Mommy remonstrate (a new word Daddy taught me) with my Daddy about spending ANY money on me.

Personally, I’m happy to go Naked– as any Bear would be… but Daddy says People want to see me Dressed. He’s Funny that way.

Hoping you get Shoes of your Own, Beanie! I guess that I am Lucky to have Mine!!!

    –Ryan
